Wishart Conservation Area

This is a relaxed pace hike consisting of 2 loops. The shorter (2 km) trail follows the Current River. The longer (4 km) trail involves a steep 100m climb. There is some rough terrain, possibly some muddy sections and a nice view from the top. The Wishart Conservation area is located on Onion Lake Road, approximately 10.5 km from Wardrope Ave. Please wear appropriate footwear. This is a conservation area and requires a 2026 Lakehead Regional Conservation Pass or a $5 fee per vehicle. Bring a snack and fluids. The hike is limited to 12 participants.
