Middlebrun Bay, Sleeping Giant Park

We will hike to Middlebrun Bay on Lake Superior, near Silver Islet. This is an easy hike with flat sections. The distance of 4.6 km ranks as an easy hike. We will have lunch at Middlebrun Bay Beach. This hike will be a relaxed pace to accommodate slow hikers, with opportunities for Naturalist Interpretation, Possibility of dessert at Silver Islet Store after the hike. The is a fee of approximately $21 for Ontario daily Vehicle Park Permit or 2026 Ontario Park Pass. (Alternatively, a Park Pass may be borrowed from any Thunder Bay Public Library in advance. This hike is limited to 20 participants.
