Brunner Trail & Hurkett Cove, Dorion

This 2.7 km loop takes you through a Boreal Forest to the top of a hill for views of Lake Superior where we will stop for lunch. We will start walking down an old road, which leads to a steep climb of approximately 270 feet in elevation, which may be challenging for novice hikers. Bring a lunch and plenty of fluids. After the Brunner trail we will drive for ice cream/snack and hike a short trail at the Hurkett Cove. Dorion. Don’t forget to bring your LRCA Explorer Card Parking Pass or pay $5.00 at the kiosk for parking. This hike is limited to 12 participants.
