CANCELLED -Lehtonen’s Bay Hike, Sleeping Giant Park

The hike that was rescheduled to Sunday June 21, 2026 is now CANCELLED due to risk of thundershowers.

From our meeting place we will drive out to S. Kabeyun Trailhead, Sleeping Giant Prov. Park.  We will take the trail to Tee Harbour, which is a former logging road, so the trail is wide and gently rolling. We’ll enjoy the view and continue on the Lehtinen’s Bay.  This will be an out and back of approx. 15.4 km.   Vehicle Day Pass is approx. $21 if no Ont. Park Pass.).   (Alternatively, a Park Pass might be borrowed free from a Thunder Bay Public Library branch in advance). This hike will be limited to 12 participants.
