Middlebrun Bay, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park

We will hike to Middlebrun Bay on Lake Superior, near Silver Islet. This is an easy hike with flat sections.  The distance of 4.6 km ranks as an easy hike.  We will have lunch at Middlebrun Bay Beach. This hike will be a relaxed pace to accommodate slow hikers.  There is a fee of approx. $21 for Ontario Daily Vehicle Permit or 2026 Ontario Park Pass.  (Alternatively, a Park Pass may be borrowed from any Thunder Bay Public Library in advance).  This will be a dog friendly hike; Park regulations require dogs to be leashed at all times.  This hike will be limited to 15 participants.
