SUMMARY:Middlebrun Bay\, Sleeping Giant Park
DESCRIPTION:We will hike to Middlebrun Bay on Lake Superior\, near Silver Islet. This is an easy hike with flat sections. The distance of 4.6 km ranks as an easy hike. We will have lunch at Middlebrun Bay Beach. This hike will be a relaxed pace to accommodate slow hikers\, with opportunities for Naturalist interpretation. This hike is limited to 20 participants. There is a fee of approximately $17 for Ontario Park Daily Vehicle nonpeak Permit\, if the vehicle does not have an Ontario Park Pass (or alternatively one can be borrowed from a Thunder Bay Public Library). \nLevel of Difficulty: Easy\nHiking Distance/Hiking Time: 4.6 km/4 hrs\nTravel Distance/Travel Time: 160 km/2 hrs. Suggested gas contribution: $11
