DESCRIPTION:Level of Difficulty: Intermediate\nHiking Distance/Hiking Time: 7.5 km / 3 hr\nTravel Distance/Travel Time: n/a \nStarting from the Cascades parking lot\, we will hike or snowshoe (depending on the conditions) south of the Cascades Conservation area to the top of the mesa in the Shuniah Mines biking area. We will stop for a lunch overlooking Lake Superior and Mount Baldy. Bring along a lunch and fluids\, and possibly crampons. Additional Fee: $5.00 parking fee or Explorer Card. This hike is limited to 18 participants.

From here we will snowshoe up to High Falls and possibly Middle Falls\, and return the same way.  This will be a relaxed pace snowshoe.  There is a $2.00 per vehicle parking fee at the Visitors Centre.  This snowshoe will be limited to 20 participants.
